Brianna is thrilled and so grateful to be a part of this show - Cathy Hiatt has been a dream role of hers ever since she heard the soundtrack. She loves how human this show is- She thinks we can all relate to certain aspects of these characters, which is what makes this piece endearing and heartbreaking. She has a BFA in Musical Theater from Utah Valley University. She works as a vocal coach and assistant director for One Voice Children’s Choir. Past roles: Margo in Bright Star (HCT Sandy), U/S Amalia Balash in She Loves Me (Harman Theater) Jo in Little Women (UVU Blackbox) Ensemble in Jumpers (UVU) Ensemble in 9 to 5 (UVU) upcoming role: Desdemona in Tragedy Averted (Pygmalion Theater) She is super thankful for her family, especially her amazing husband for supporting her and her dreams.     

Jake Ericksen(A)

as Jamie Wellerstein

Just like every other musical theater student, Jake has been singing these songs ever since their freshman year in college. Jake has been dreaming of performing in this role for years and they are so happy to be cast across from Brianna, who Jake has known since junior high. Some of Jake’s favorite roles include Pippin in Pippin, Anthony in Sweeney Todd, and ValJean in Les Miserables. Other than singing, Jake enjoys caring for indoor plants, playing kickball with Stonewall Sports, and working at Salt Lake Community College. Jake wants to thank their boyfriend, their voice teachers throughout the years, and for anyone who has ever believed in them.
