    Tanner Tate

    Director

Tanner can't find the right words to express how lucky he feels to have spent the last few months working with and getting to know some of the coolest and most talented people in the valley on a show that is close to his heart. He began directing at the age of 18, with a show that he wrote in his freshman year at UVU. He's directed Putting It Together, a Sondheim musical revue, and several small productions over the next few years. Tanner has written several one-acts that have been performed at local high schools. Tanner has performed on stages in five different states, most recently completing a run as Jack Kelly with Herriman Arts Council, and he loves to sing. In his free time, he loves researching history, writing fiction, teaching writing and acting workshops, cooking new recipes, and watching bad movies with his roommates. Check out his podcast, Tanner Talks About Stuff That Happened, available on all major podcasting platforms

  • Ben Tate head shot

    Ben Tate

    Assistant Director

Ben is thrilled to be a part of this incredible show and to be working with the incredible people. This is his very first opportunity to help direct and there is no one else he’d rather do it with than his own older brother. Ben has been seen on stage performing in many shows across the Salt Lake valley, some of his favorite roles being ‘Jethro Summers’ (The Heart of Robin Hood), ‘Hugo Jackson’ (Tuck Everlasting), ‘Enjolras’ (Les Misérables), ‘Sam’ (Mamma Mia!), and ‘Jack’ (Into the Woods). He is ecstatic to have the opportunity to work on one of his personal favorites, The Last Five Years, and hopes you enjoy the show, and eat good food.
