    Director Susan Lord

Mrs. Lord is in her 30th year at LHHS, the last 14 of which have been at the helm of the theatre department. She has also taught English and P.E. and coached water polo and swimming; in fact, she is the “winningest” coach on campus with 8 League Championships and 4 CIF titles. Mrs. Lord holds a Master’s degree in Theater Production and Design from Southern Oregon University. She loves working with the students at LHHS and values the incredible support from the parents, colleagues, and administration. She was honored as one of the Orange County Teacher of the Year candidates in 2013, has happily accepted MACY awards for most of our musicals -- including the prestigious Spirit of the MACY trophy for Nice Work if You Can Get It in 2017, and has been nominated for Director of the Year at the JRAY Awards twice in the past several years. But what she’s most proud of and thankful for is her amazing family!

He is known as the “Show Doctor” specializing in Entertainment Programing Enhancement. Mr. Johnson is a Master Instructor in Dance Education. Casey began collaborating with Mrs. Lord in 2014 when he choreographed Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Other well received Hawk productions include Big Fish, Footloose, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Legally Blonde, Side Show, Hello Dolly! (kind of) and this year’s AMAZING COVID-19 Edition Production of LSOH. Casey is also the Associate Director and resident Choreographer at Legends In Concert (Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Branson). Fun Fact: As a COVID pivot while the entertainment industry has been shut down, Casey earned his Arizona Real Estate License and joined the NAR! Let him know if you need an Agent in Arizona! LOL He would like to sincerely thank Susan Lord for this amazing opportunity. Go Hawks!!
