Interconnectedness.
A theme that became a big focus during the uncertainty that 2020 brought. With social distancing and stay at home orders increasing, interconnectedness became harder to obtain and more intensely sought after. The underlying theme of perseverance in The Theory of Relativity speaks to resilience of human nature. The cast and crew faced many challenges and difficult decisions before rehearsals started but the end result is a phenomenal online rendition of this musical.
The show focuses on a short period in a day where 13 seemingly unrelated people, unbeknownst to themselves, interact with one another. Love and loss are explored with a great blend of songs and monologues both comedic and serious. The team has been working tirelessly to bring the show to life while exploring streaming as a performance medium.
