Lorinda van Wyk
Director
Lorinda was born and raised in sunny South Africa where she obtained her undergrad in musical theatre. She immigrated to Canada to pursue her MMus at Wilfrid Laurier University. She has more than ten years of experience teaching, directing and conducting and hopes to remain in the field of research in the future. Lorinda deems herself fortunate to have been working so hard with a team dedicated to deliver a production despite the obstacles 2020 has put in everyone’s way. As the director of this production, she is proud of the work everyone has put into The Theory of Relativity and looks forward to sharing the end product.

Ben Wallace
Producer
Ben has enjoyed working with this talented group to produce The Theory of Relativity. He's a third-year Voice Performance major who is active as a singer, teacher, and music director (The Last Five Years, 13 the Musical, Crazy for You). Ben was one of the winners of the Laurier Concerto Competition this year and is also a past winner of OMFA Senior Musical Theatre Provincials.

Sarah Stapleton
Vocal Director
Sarah Stapleton is a fourth-year Music Education student specializing in Voice at Wilfrid Laurier University. She is passionate about musical theatre, education, writing, and research, and aspires to become a Professor of Voice alongside working as a performer. Sarah has over sixteen years of experience studying music and twelve years of musical theatre experience, passions which she shares with the next generation in her roles as a voice teacher and musical theatre instructor.
