Little Shop of Horrors - May 04 -

Legacy High School

 End Notes

I am truly thankful and blessed to be a part of the Little Shop of Horrors this Spring Season.  I am so thankful for the cast, crew, production staff and our many parent and teacher volunteers that have worked tirelessly to bring this story to life for you amidst laughter, excitement, and the pure joy of working together. A truly successful production however, involves more than what is presented on stage. It should only be the artistic learning experience, but a personal one as well. I'm especially proud of the cooperation, mutual respect, the level of commitment, and the teamwork that has been demonstrated by everyone involved in the production. These students have put egos aside and discovered that whether they had one line or fifty , were on or off stage, that everyone shares equally in the pride and success of such an accomplishment.

I’d like to thank my parents Marc and Debra Salls for supporting me in each and every venture I continue to jump right into and for the financial support/donations for our productions not including the time they have put into assisting me with ideas, props, and of course their countless hours of helping sing with the students and fine tune their voices.

Also thank you to Star Costume for our phenomenal wardrobe and Bob Love for creating wonderful masterpieces for our production to take us from ordinary to extraordinary.

I also need to thank Scott Ellsworth and Matty Sommermeyer. Thank you gentleman for being my right and left hand men. I honestly could not have done this production without you. Thank  you for all of your help with each scene, set pieces, sound, mics, and pretty much everything in between.  We were able to tackle each set back together and create a successful show. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Thank you to Heather McEnaney and Stacy Hedden for helping each and every production with selling tickets, concessions, ticket takers, ushering, many behind the scene projects and keeping me sane. Thank you for your support and help along this wonderful journey.

And finally, I would like to thank Chloe Rea and Paige Oliver. Thank you ladies for your time and energy in creating a wonderful production. These ladies took on the roles of Student Director and Stage Manager and were able to be wonderful leaders for this production and making sure that we were able to get everything done ahead of time, on a schedule and hold the cast/crew accountable. They truly added the glitz and glamour to the show.

Sincerely,

Ms. Jennifer Salls
