 Who's Who

  • Andrew Kloser head shot

    Andrew Kloser

    as Jesus

Andrew Kloser, son of Mark & Julie Kloser, is currently a senior at MV and plays Jesus. Andrew’s favorite part of the show has been the transition between “Beautiful City” and the last supper scene. Some of his favorite memories were made with Mr. DeVore, working on the stairs and various projects, laughing the entire time. Andrew’s biggest challenge has been bringing out the wisdom and empathy of Jesus’s character. He looks up to Mr. DeVore, who has helped him tremendously in bringing the personality of Jesus through in his character. Andrew believes Godspell will change the way you view life and how you treat others. The music isn’t what you’d expect, but he knows you’ll be singing all the way home and for a long time after.

  • Andrew Hildebrand head shot

    Andrew Hildebrand

    as John the Baptist/Judas

Senior Andrew Hildebrand is the son of Alan and Karen Hildebrand. Andrew has been involved in every drama production since 2017. He LOVES pizza, Deadpool, and the song “World’s Smallest Violin” by AJR and he’d like the audience to know that he is terrible at golf. Andrew’s favorite part of the show is the song “All For the Best.” And after this, in the car ride home, he believes the audience will be thinking “Dang, that big guy can dance!” Andrew looks up to all of the directors for “putting up with us and all of the guidelines and timelines they have to work with.” But with all of the challenges and barriers Godspell has overcome, he believes this show isn’t just about telling the story of Jesus and the audience will walk away amazed. After high school, Andrew plans to attend Kirkwood Community College then transfer to Iowa State to become a mechanical engineer.
