From the Director:
Why did I Choose to direct "The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church"? Well, first I wanted to see if I could memorize the title. That took me about 2 months! That's why I direct, I cant possibly memorize all the lines that the actors do.
Seriously, this play seems just right for the people in Marshalltown and the surrounding towns. After surviving the tornado in July many churches banded together to help people in need. There were times when sorting through the donations (some junk) seemed to be an impossible task. But, we did it! You'll Probably recognize or identify with some of the characters.
"The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church" is described as a comedy. But there are some twists and turns in the plot that will make you think. I hope you enjoy the play as much as I have directing it.
