Cory Coppin

as Chip Tolentino, Carl Dad, Olive's Dad

Cory Coppin is thrilled to be a part of his first show at McLaughlin. Spelling Bee is his favorite musical and he's very excited to be playing Chip for the second time. Some previous roles include Leo in The Producers, Joseph in Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat, Jack in Into the Woods, Jetsam alongside his twin brother in The Little Mermaid. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Ashlyn Hennige

as Dina Panch

Ashlyn Hennige-Panch: After taking a long break from theatre, Ashlyn is excited to be back on the stage. She has previously performed in Smile as Bobby and in Oz as the Lion, both of which were at McLaughlin. Currently, she is attending Sierra College majoring in math hoping to teach math at Del Oro. In her free time, she likes to play the guitar and geek out over the latest superhero movie.
Brandon Parenti

as Leaf Coneybear, Jesus Christ, Dan Dad

Brandon Parenti is thrilled to be performing in his 5th show at McLaughlin Theatre, as the role of Leaf in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He has been acting for two years and enjoys it very much. He will be going into his freshman year at Del Oro in the fall and cannot wait to act there as well. He would like to thank his amazing cast and director for supporting and acting alongside him.
Nathalie Keller

as Leaf Coneybear, Ensemble

Nathalie is a natural in voice, dance & acting. She has performed as Rapunzel in Into the Woods, Ursula in The Little Mermaid, and as a Munchkin in Music Circus's Wizard of Oz. Other acting credits include Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof, Alice in Wonderland, The Jungle Book, Aladdin and Beauty & the Beast. Nathalie enjoys sports, and is a successful student with a creative imagination.
Daphne Mastro

as Logainne Schwartzandgrunenierre (Schwartzy), Leaf's Mom

Daphne is exthited to work with thith over-achieving cast & crew. Her acting credits include: Marie (Aristocats) & Toy (May Poppins) at MTC, Sophia/Mini Mike (Willy Wonka), Young Fiona (Shrek Jr.), Lullaby League (Wizard of Oz), & Elephant Bird/Who (Seussical Jr.). at RCT, Baby Elephant (Jungle Book) & Hattie Sue (Sweet Hannah Sue) at RTAA. She thankth her family & friendth for their thupport.
