Sammy Soren

as Shrek, Papa Ogre

Sammy is 13 and in 7th grade at Ophir STEAM Academy. He is in Leadership and fluent in ASL. Sammy enjoys soccer and raising show pigs that he competes with a the Placer and Gold Country Fairs. This is Sammy’s 3rd show at MTC. He began with You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown and then Zazu in Lion King Jr. He is really enjoying Shrek Jr and can’t wait to share it with you!
Kina Carr

as Princess Fiona

Kina Carr is thirteen and in the seventh grade. She is very excited to be playing Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical Jr. When not rehearsing, Kina enjoys relaxing with friends, singing, watching Riverdale and not eating her vegetables. This is Kina's fifth production with MTC.
Jayne Leftwich

as Donkey

Jayne is 11 years old and in 5th grade. This is her 7th show at MTC, and 11th show combined.She is so excited to be playing Donkey in Shrek the Musical Jr.! In her free time, she enjoys playing the ukulele and doing ventriloquism with her puppets Coral and Layla.She would like to thank her bestie, Brooklynn, for helping her prepare for this show!

Emily is 13 and is in 8th grade. She loves art, music, and hanging out with her friends. Hope you enjoy the show!

as Dragon, Duloc & Woodland Performer

Emily is so excited to be playing the part of the Dragon! Shrek is one of her favorite shows. Emily loves performing and has appeared in several school and local productions. She also sings in local Open Mic nights. She hopes you enjoy the show!
