Sam Matthews*+

Production Stage Manager

Sam Matthews, a senior, is excited to be the Production Stage Manager for Matilda! In the past he performed on stage in HSM2 and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and could be found behind the scenes for many other productions. Last year, he was Chief Editor for Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus. Sam is also in SCA, BETA, NHS, Tri-M, Dance Captain for Madz, and ITS President.
Jack Dompkowski

Stage Manger

Jack Dompkowski is a sophomore at MHS, and this will be his 4th production as stage crew. He worked as an editor for the previous year’s film productions and is very excited to be back in person and working with a real stage again. He is thankful to Ms. Switzer and the current school system for the chance to be back face-to-face and working in person.
Addison Drake

Assistant Stage Manager

Addison Drake, a freshman, is excited to finally be a part of a production again. Addison has been a stage manager for The Lion King and The Music Man at Bell Creek Middle School in the past.
Lucy Greene

Assistant Stage Manager

Lucy Greene, freshman, is excited for her first musical with Mechanicsville High School. This will be Lucy’s sixth show working backstage. She has done theatre for The CAT Theater, SPARC, and BCMS.
Emilie Dinch+

Light Board Operator

Emilie Dinch is the light and sound technician for Matilda. This is the first show she’s participated in. She enjoys drawing and taking care of her plants in her free time. She gives her parents credit for pushing her to partake in theatre.
