Jane West

Director

Jane West has more than 30 years performing and teaching experience. She has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Vocal Performance from Butler University and has performed in Opera, Oratorio and Musical Theater. She is retired from teaching at Broadripple High School, an IPS Magnet School, and she currently teaches voice and piano at Meridian Music School.
Paulo Castro

Music Director

Paulo Castro holds a Masters Degree in Choral Conducting from Butler University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance from São Paulo State University. Native of Brazil, he moved to Indianapolis in 2009 to study at Butler University, working with Henry Leck, Eric Stark, and Tim Brimmer, among others. Paulo is an active conductor, clinician, pianist, arranger and singer, having performed locally and internationally, working with ICC (Indianapolis Children’s Choir), Butler University, Earlham College, IMEA, St Andrew Presbyterian Church and IHM (Immaculate Heart of Mary) Church, among others.
Joyce Buchholz

Set Director

Joyce has been teaching music for many years. She holds a B.S. in harp performance from Indiana University of Bloomington and an M.B.A. from Indiana Wesleyan. In addition to teaching piano and harp, Joyce is also a certified Harmony Road instructor. Not only is she a highly qualified teacher, but she is also a certified harp technician. Joyce is affiliated with the Folk Harp Society, American Harp Society, the World Harp Congress, and American String Teachers Association. She also plays with the Indianapolis Philharmonic Orchestra.
Hillary Blake

Executive Director

Hillary has been the Education Director at Meridian Music School since 2005. She holds a Bachelor's degree in vocal performance from Manchester College. Hillary teaches voice and beginning piano and enjoys singing all styles of music.
