ALLISON KELLER is the music teacher at Mineral Point Elementary School. This is her second production as technical director. While in college, she played flute and piccolo in the pit orchestra for The Addams Family. She has enjoyed learning even more about lighting and sound design while working on this year's production.

 

ASHLEY CALDERON-MCHUGH is enjoying her ninth year as the Choral and Musical Theatre Director, and Vocal Lesson and General Music Teacher at Mineral Point Unified Schools, for which she was a recipient of the 2023 Kohl Educational Fellowship. She serves as a Drumline Coach for MPHS, Music Theory Adjunct Instructor for UW-Oshkosh, Cantabile Director for Platteville Children’s Choir, Board Member for Mineral Point Opera House, Certified Adjudicator and State Honors Treble Choir Coach for WSMA, Vocal Faculty for Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and private voice lesson teacher. Mrs. Calderon-McHugh was an Adjunct Instructor at New York University Steinhardt while earning a Masters in Classical Voice and an Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy. She also earned a Masters in Vocal Performance and a Bachelors in K-12 Music Education from Eastern Illinois University. Mrs. Calderon-McHugh has performed most recently with Fresco Opera, Madison Symphony Orchestra Chorus, Pop Factory Players, Madison Sings, and Characters2Life. BLAIR KOTT is a costume designer and performer from Platteville, Wi. Originally hailing from Hazel Green, she is so pleased to be working in the SWAL conference again! Blair earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2020 from UW-Platteville before moving to Minneapolis to join Fearless Comedy Productions. Her design credits include Fool for Love and Cloud 9 for the UW-Platteville Pioneer Players, Bright Star for the Platteville Summer Arts Festival, and Antigone and Much Ado About Nothing for Eden Prairie High School. She would like to thank everyone at Mineral Point High School for giving her the opportunity to work with them. Enjoy the show!

 

CHAD WALTER "As my first year as set director, I look forward to putting my 24 years of construction knowledge to use. Although I tend to wear a lot of hi-vis shirts, I enjoy working behind the scenes making the simple and complex props that bring the show alive."

 

DANIEL NORDSTROM is a 2021 Graduate of Mineral Point High School and is extremely excited to be a part of this year's production of Big Fish - School Edition. Daniel has been involved in various shows over the years, and has performed with MPHS Musical Theatre and the local Pop Factory Players. Outside of his involvement with the musical, Daniel is a local apprentice plumber. He deeply appreciates the community's continued support of Mineral Point High School Musical Theatre Club.
