Doris Almonte
Doris (Ensemble) is a freshman at Mount Pleasant High School. She's grateful for the experience with the Drama Department that has helped her really connect with others, to express her feelings, and to let her talents shine. Along the way, she's made tons of good friends and has eaten a LOT of pizza, hot and cold! Enjoy the show!

Darryl Banks

Darryl is a Junior at MPHS. He has performed in numerous plays and musicals such as The Laramie Project, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Jesus Christ Superstar, Godspell, and the One Act Play Festival hosted here at Mount Pleasant. He has also written and performed in his own comedic monologue entitled Knitters Are People, Too. Firstly, Darryl thanks the Lord for blessing him with this amazing opportunity, and aiding him in all of his performances. He also thanks his family for their love and support (especially his mom and dad), as well as the cast and crew for all of their hard work. Lastly, he hopes you enjoy RENT: School Edition!

Veronica Barat
Roni (Ensemble) is a freshman at Mount Pleasant, and is very excited to be in her first high school musical production. She has previously participated in Mount’s One Act Play Festival, 12 Incompetent Men (and Women) as well as the Cabaret for Friends In Deed. At Springer Middle School, she took part in several productions, including Into the Woods Jr., Seussical Jr., and Guys and Dolls Jr. She wants to thank her friends, cast members and directors for all of their support. Roni also wants to send a shoutout to her family for making sure she never gives up on her dreams.
