Martha Parker

Director / Producer

Martha Parker is thrilled to launch this year's NDSS production of The Sound Of Music. She is excited to celebrate the sixth anniversary in partnership with Doug Roszmann, Sarah Kielly, and Barry Parker. Martha's last 4 productions include All Shook Up, Curtains, Beauty and the Beast, and Mamma Mia. She's enjoyed working with a dedicated and hard working cast and crew.
Doug Roszmann

Musical/Choral Director

Doug (Vocal Director/Orchestra Conductor) has been involved in theatre and music since childhood and after teaching classroom music throughout his career has spent much of his retirement involved in theatre and music. He directs a community choir and sings with the Nanaimo Tidesmen Men’s Acapella Chorus. Past credits with NDSS include Shrek, All Shook Up, Curtains, Beauty and the Beast and Mamma Mia! He would like to thank his wife Joan for her support and patience over the years.
Sarah Kielly

Choreographer

Sarah is a former NDSS graduate and is always excited to be a part of the NDSS Theatre Company. Sarah is a dancer choreographer at at Tempo Dance Academy and UK Movez, and has performed in Disneyland and New York at the New Amsterdam Theatre. Sarah has a diploma in Social Work from VIU and loves to work with students and share her passion for theatre.
Rose Gregson

Stage Manager/Lighting

Rose Gregson (Grade 12) has enjoyed her third year working with the NDSS Musical Theatre Company. As well as The Sound of Music being a family favourite, working on a production of The Sound of Music is a dream come true for her. She would like to thank everyone in the cast and crew for all of the hard work and effort they've put in. She hopes that you enjoy the show!
Merissa Hornby

Assistant Stage Manager

Merissa Hornby has been apart of NDSS musical theatre prgram for 3 years. She was a stage hand for Beauty and the Beast and assistant stage manager for Mamma Mia! She is thrilled to be helping out again in this years production of The Sound Of Music.
