Noah McCallum

Technical Director

Noah is a grade 10 student who contributes much to the musical theatre program at NDSS. Though he says he is working with audio this year., he has also designed the lighting and is currently working on editing the film that he and Merissa shot for The Sound of Music. His past projects include sound design for Beauty and the Beast, as well as for Mamma Mia!

Tristan Poelzer

Sound/Dance Captain

Tristan (Grade 11) has a passion for dance. In Beauty and the Beast, she had multiple featured roles, including a Wolf, a Napkin Girl, and the Foot Stool. Tristan also had a lead role in the NDSS Dance Team’s production of It Haunts Me. She has 10 years of dance experience and wants to continue dancing. This year, she decided to try out a crew role and enjoyed it. 

Gloria Dick

Production Assistant

Gloria is a Grade 12 student who's delighted to return to technical theatre once more. She has worked on four other NDSS productions: Curtains, Beauty and the Beast, Mamma Mia! and the one-act play Check Please: Take 2. This year, they had an increased responsibility and became an even more vital part of the show. They hope you enjoy everyone's work, both on & off camera!

Janis Chung

It's been a pleasure to work with a group of students dedicated to their craft. Janis has worked with the production team in costume design and as the resident costumer for the last three years and is more than excited to have helped out again this year.

Jennifer Herbison

The Sound Of Music is Jennifer's second experience with costumes with NDSS theatre company. She has a MFA in Creative Writing, from UBC, and aspires to bring Susan Juby's Y.A. novel, The Fashion Committee, to the high school musical theatre stage. She would like to thank her mother for her generous loan of costume items and props over the years.
