The Three Musketeers (Ludwig) - April 20 - April 22, 2018

Nashua Theatre Guild

 End Notes

Notes from the Director

This show is one that captures the imagination and celebrates larger then life heros that fight against dark forces that seek to overthrow the country. Sometime you need a show like this, I know I do! We need the thrill and adventure and so I hope that with my brilliantly talented cast and crew we have brought that to you.

I have to admit it was very hard for me to do this show, not for the obvious reasons like a hugh set, cast, costumes or hero who swings into a ballroom full of people (spoliers), but because I have directed this show in the past with my dad by my side. This was the last show that we were able to work on together. Four years ago, he past away on our opening night. He was the one who taught me to truely love and embrace theatre. He taught me to build and to dream and to understand the magic of this amazing world that we call theatre! Because of his love of theatre that he shared, I have chosen to make theatre my life. When I'm not involved in a show I find a piece of me missing as many of us do. I dedicate this show to him and to all of my dreamers who are inspired by the adventure of putting on a show and working together to build something beautiful, that's why we do it!

The last thing I will say, is that we are always looking for more wonderful brillant people! If you know someone who wants to join us and continue to build an inspiring environment, send them our way, we'll be waiting for you! All for one, and one for all!

*Please keep the aisles and exits clear during the performance for the safety of the audience and the actors, there are  many, many swordfights in this show!
