Laura Uchida

Director + Choreographer

Laura Uchida (Director/Choreographer) is thrilled to be making her NGMS directorial debut with this incredible cast and crew. Laura started her journey in the arts as a young dancer and fell in love with theater at Norcross High School. She went on to receive a BFA in Acting from Pace University in NYC with a dance minor. Laura has performed and directed off Broadway and in numerous student & independent films. She has been teaching more than 20 years and finds great joy sharing her love of the arts with children of all ages!
Kim Eason

Musical Director

Kim Eason (musical director) teaches chorus at NGMS, and is a charter staff member. Eason earned her Bachelor degree and Master of Music Education in Voice at the University of Georgia, where she also danced with the UGA Ballroom Performance Group, sang with the UGA Opera, and often performed with Athens Creative Theatre. Notable onstage appearances include Beauty and the Beast (Belle), Bye Bye Birdie (Rosie), Sweeney Todd (Johanna), and Once Upon a Mattress (Lady Larken). Ms.Eason is excited to be retiring at the end of this school year, and even more excited to be part of this practically perfect production!
Avery Roemer

Avery Roemer is an 8th grade student and is excited for everyone to watch the show. This is her second production with NGMS. She hopes you enjoy the show!
