Summer Holmes

as Matilda Wormwood

Summer Holmes, playing Matilda and a student, is excited to be in her first musical here at NPSS. Past shows she has been in are Oliver! as Ms. Bedwin, the Twelfth Night as a cabaret singer (both at Smithers Secondary School), and ensemble in Footloose in FSJ. She would like to thank her family for believing in her, as well as Mr Sloan and Mr Price for this opportunity.
Savannah Drschiwiski

as Miss Agatha Trunchbull

Sav has been in many musicals and performances, with some of the more recent ones being Elf and Spamalot. She enjoys being in band and playing video games in her free time. She is very grateful for her friends and would like to give a special thanks to the stage manager of the show, Zade Palfy.
Katie May

as Mrs. Honey

This is Katie May’s first lead role at North Peace Secondary School. She has recently discovered her love for musical theatre after moving back to Fort St. John. Katie is thrilled to play Ms. Honey, one of her favourite characters in Matilda. She hopes that you enjoy the show as much as she enjoyed being a part of it.
Josh Coenders

as Mr. Wormwood

Joshua Coenders is honoured to play Mr.Wormwood in the NPSS’s Matilda. This is his 2nd show with the school, and he wishes he could return next year. With eight years of acting experience across fifteen productions, including four musicals, he is thrilled to bring his love of theatre to life. Josh is extremely grateful to Mr. Sloan and Mr. Price, and he dedicates his final performance with the school to them and to the audience.
Rianna Mayer

as Mrs Wormwood

Rianna Mayer has been in 5 plays, not including Matilda. Her love for acting first began in Grade 4, where she was cast as Jafar in Aladdin. It seems she has a knack for playing mean characters, such as the Beast, in Grade 6, but I assure you she’s a very lovely, smiley girl! Though, her father, Mr. Mayer, may say otherwise.
