Lauren Goyer

Director

An NHS alum (class of 2016), Lauren was last seen on the Northville stage as Ariel in The Little Mermaid and is thrilled to be returning as director for the third time. Lauren directed the fall production of The Play That Goes Wrong and last year’s spring musical, Mean Girls. Lauren graduated from Oakland University’s BFA Acting program in 2020, where she portrayed Lady Macbeth in Macbeth. After graduating, Lauren graced the stage at the Croswell Opera House as April in Company and Nicola in Kinky Boots. Lauren would like to thank her soon-to-be HUSBAND(!!!) Rafael, for his unconditional love and support.
Jim Walters

Vocal Music Director

Jim Walters is the proud father of five wonderful children and grandfather of four amazing grandchildren! He has been the accompanist for the choirs at NHS since September 2021. He currently serves as vocal director for Northville Musical Theater and plays keyboard in the pit. Mr. Walters is the rehearsal accompanist at Plymouth Canton Educational Park. He has played piano or directed vocals at several community theaters and many high schools in the Detroit area. Laughter is his medicine!
Michael Rumbell

Conductor

Mr. Rumbell has worked in Northville for 53 years, as the band director at NHS and formerly at Hillside Middle School. He began as a student teacher at NHS while attending the University of Michigan, where he obtained a master's degree in music. He has conducted many musicals at NHS over the years, and has also enjoyed a lifelong career as a professional musician.
Bryan Johnson

Set Designer & Producer

Bryan is in his 18th year as Drama Club Advisor and 17th year as Producer of the Northville High School Theatre Productions. He loves the creativity and determination of the students and is very proud of everyone involved with the productions!
