Josef is excited to be part of NSCP's production of Godspell, taking on the role of George, joining with them for the second time after his Capital Region debut in NSCP's production of The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!), and following up quickly after a run Lend Me a Tenor with Classic Theater Guild as the lead, Max. With Godspell, Josef finds the music to be poignant and uplifting, and the message still important today, and would like to remind everyone to be excellent to each other.

Ashley is thrilled to make her debut with Not So Common Players! She teaches elementary orchestra in Schenectady and holds a bachelor’s in Music Education from Hofstra University and a master’s in Literacy from SUNY Albany. Offstage, Ashley is mom to two cats and a toddler, and thanks her incredible husband, Jimmy, for supporting her passion. She believes in the power of the arts to inspire and connect—and is honored to share in that magic tonight.

Sophia Spiegel
as Anna Maria
Sophia is a Senior at Shenendehowa, is thrilled to be in her first Not so Common Players production! Sophia has been in musical theater since she was in 3rd grade. While in highschool she performed in Mamma Mia, Addams Family, Anything Goes, and most recently, Legally Blonde. Sophia will follow her passion for music at the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam next year, majoring in Music Education, Vocal focus. Enjoy the show!
