    Carmen Coindreau

    Director/Choreography

    A native of Monterrey, Mexico, she has lived in NY, Miami and LA. She graduated from Theatre Arts from Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon and with a Theatre Minor in Barry University in Miami Florida. She also completed a Musical Theatre Minor In Manhattan School of Music in NY and attended 3 professional Musical Theater Workshops in TISCH school of arts at NYU having the opportunity of working with Stephen Sondheim’s Musical Director, Paul Gemignani. She founded and directed the Performing Arts Departments in two schools of Meritas international group of schools. Instituto San Roberto in 1996 and the successful Dance Department in 1998. She also founded the Theatre Department in a local private school in Yorba Linda, CA. Carmen was a Musical Theatre performer in Mexico playing roles like “Madam Giry” in The Phantom of the Opera, “Mimi" in "Rent." She has directed over 12 musicals such as The Wiz, Beauty and The Beast, Footloose, Hairspray, Annie, and Seussical

    Kal considers herself a theatre geek and has been performing in musicals since the 6th grade. She has been in "Oklahoma", "Fiddler on the Roof", "Once Upon a Mattress", "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," "Scrooge" and "Spelling Bee". Along with her husband, they started the performing arts school in Brea in 2000. Kal currently teaches the beginning Musical Theatre class at OC Performing Arts. Kal is certified in music theory and performance from California Music Teachers association, and holds an MBA from the University of La Verne.

    Dan Paviolo

    Executive Producer

    Dan is an exceptionally accomplished musician and teacher. His passion is helping people find their musical talents and gifts, and expressing them in performance and sessions. He also is very gifted at producing recorded productions. Dan is the CEO of OC Performing Arts, and holds a degree in music from MIT, and an MBA from University of La Verne.

  • Melody Esperanza

    Assistant Director

    Melody has been in several productions throughout So Cal, but most recently was Ariel in OCPA's "The Little Mermaid Jr." The producers and director are grateful for her assistance.
