Grace Marsh
as Anya (4/22, 4/24, 4/29)
Gracie is a Senior and is so excited to be a part of the show, her ninth at Oak Hill. Her past performances include Annie, Beauty and the Beast, Music Man, Les Miserables, and Murder’s in the Heir. Her favorite memory of the show was seeing the new wanted poster created every night for the train scene. Gracie’s future plans include attending Anderson University to study mathematics and musical theater. Gracie would like to thank Mallory Cheek for being such a great friend to share the part of Anastasia, Grandma Rita and Aunt Rhonda for helping costume everyone in the show, Cami Clouser for choreographing the show, Wyatt Drolinger for being supportive and encouraging, Miss K for directing, her castmates for putting on an amazing show, Mrs. Hewitt for always listening to her and being understanding, and her mom and dad for encouraging her to follow her dreams to do what she loves. She hopes the audience enjoys the show!
Mallory Cheek
as Anya (4/23, 5/1, school tour)
Mallory would like to welcome you to her dream musical, Anastasia. This is her seventh show at Oak Hill. Mallory’s favorite memory is mispronouncing “bosom” in a serious scene, fully confident that it’s pronounced exactly as it looks. She’ll say it correctly today. Mallory will study education at Taylor University next fall. She would like to thank her family for their support, despite her hours at home being fewer than those at rehearsal or school. She thanks Gracie for encouraging her as a friend and as Anya. Thanks to Cami for the sacrifice of being choreographer, and to Owen, the only Dmitry to her Anya, for helping her step into and grow in this role. Thanks to Miss K for her heart for the cast and the show, and for making this show a dream come true. Thanks to Mrs. Hewitt, Maridith, Rita & Ronda, Mr. Durkes & Mr. McDivitt, for sharing their superpowers for the show. She hopes you are dearly enchanted and enjoy the musical!
