    Violin/ Concertmaster

    Jeannine is an alumnus of PSUSD who began playing violin at the age of nine. She was a member of the All District Orchestra for two years and was accepted into the All-American Youth Symphony. She was a member of the Anderson Talent Program Orchestra occupying the concertmaster chair for two years. She has studied with Eugenia Slahor and Thomas Mancini, and George Montgomery. Jeannine has been a member of the Desert Youth Symphony, the Desert Symphony, the Redlands Symphony, and the San Bernardino Symphony. Her real passion is playing in "pit orchestras" for musicals. Every year she returns to Palm Springs High School and has played in every musical for more than FOUR DECADES.

    Matt Ingelson

    Matt is a Coachella Valley native who actively works within a variety of fields within the music industry. He graduated from Palm Springs High School in 2010, earned his undergraduate degree in music from VanderCook College of Music in 2014, and has since studied trumpet performance and music production from the University of Redlands and Berklee College of Music respectively. He has served as the department chair and director of bands at Desert Hot Springs High School for the past five years, and as adjunct faculty member in applied music at College of the Desert for the past four years. In addition to serving in education, Matt also works as a recording multi-instrumentalist artist, producer, and mixing/mastering engineer with several records due in 2020.     April is currently a junior at PSHS and is a happy member of the Spirit of the Sands mini marching band, marching band, jazz band, and now pit band for Chicago. This is her second musical, and just like the first, she is excited to be involved with this amazing production. She would like to give a huge thanks to Mr. Ingelson for giving her this opportunity once again.
