Hatred, a Musical - April 26

Personal

 Who's Who

  • Francesca Tricamo-Palmer head shot

    Francesca Tricamo-Palmer

as Tom Montgomery, a wealthy young man

Francesca used to do a lot of theater but mostly stopped after high school, she's not a very strong singer and a career as an actor wasn't appealing—too much rejection! Now she works in television casting where she does the rejecting. She still does some improv though and was on an episode of Portlandia in 2018 which was fun.

  • Tom Seiniger head shot

    Tom Seiniger

as Johanna Capuline, a low-class young woman with a heart of gold

Francesca’s boyfriend Tom was raised by two Broadway fanatic parents and forced to participate in musicals from an early age. His voice only works well with certain songs, which stopped fooling theater teachers by junior year. He is thrilled to be playing a female role, “like in one of those MisCast videos on Youtube.”

  • Jennie Spector head shot

    Jennie Spector

as Josephine McDonald, a wealthy, conceited young woman

Jennie likes to consider herself a serious artist, but these things happen. She met Conner, Alyssa, and Frankie while wearing ill-fitted jazz pants at musical theater camp, and met Tom over FaceTime while watching Cats. Now more than ever, she’s thrilled to present work that asks big questions, like “what is a musical?” She dedicates this performance to her anxiety.

  • Alyssa Haning head shot

    Alyssa Haning

    as Rose, Josephine's mother

Alyssa is so blessed to be performing in Hatred, a Musical after starring in spring 2018’s hit Aversion, a Pop-Opera and last summer’s less successful Mild Distaste, a Beat Poetry-Fantasia. She’d like to thank Conner, her friends, and Margo Martindale for getting her through this time. In the words of Marianne Williamson, “Stop waiting for a producer. Produce yourself.”

  • Conner Reed head shot

    Conner Reed

    as Narrator/Claire, Tom's mother

Conner wrote this show 12 years ago, when he had time to kill, a rudimentary understanding of Romeo and Juliet, and a brazen lack of respect for context. Now he's performing it on Zoom in the middle of a global pandemic with a bunch of his oldest friends and Tom Seiniger. And that is showbiz.
