A Midsummer Night’s Dream - August 22 - August 24, 2025

Players Guild at Sugar Hill

A NOTE FROM THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

On behalf of Players Guild at Sugar Hill, I would like to welcome you to our 12th season: Something for Everyone! With so many theatre venues in the area, we are honored that you chose to spend your time with us.

We have a fabulous season planned for you, starting with A Midsummer Night’s Dream, our second annual Shakespeare in the Bowl.  Next up, who doesn’t love an Agatha Christie murder mystery?  The Mousetrap is a lively whodunit that will keep you guessing until the end. For the holidays, we hope to see you at The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge, an engaging retelling of one of the best loved ghost stories of all time. In February, we are thrilled to present the four time Tony Award winning musical comedy, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder. It is non-stop fun and hilarity! Finally, we will finish our year with Pride and Prejudice, a classic tale from the Regency Era based upon the well-loved novel by Jane Austen.

I am certainly thrilled to be part of this outstanding organization, and I am proud of the work that we have done and continue to do for this community.  Of course, none of this work would be possible without the support of The City of Sugar Hill, our generous individual donors, our season ticket holders, our incredible group of volunteers, and you, our amazing audience!

The audience is the most revered member of the theater. Without an audience, there is no theater. Everything done is ultimately for the enjoyment of the audience. They are our guests, fellow players, and the last spoke in the wheel which can then begin to roll. They make the performance meaningful. —Viola Spolin

Enjoy the show!  This is for you.
