Welcome to our whimsical world of A Midsummer Night’s Dream!

One of the most beautiful things about community theater is how it gathers people from every corner of life to tell a story together, much like this play did the first time it was performed in 1595. This production has been no exception — our cast is a vibrant mix of seasoned performers and fresh faces, each bringing their own spark to Shakespeare’s beloved comedy. It’s been such a joy to watch their talent, dedication, and generosity of spirit fill every rehearsal with laughter and creativity.

You’ll be seeing an abridged version of Midsummer, adapted for clarity and connection — keeping the heart, humor, and enchantment of Shakespeare while making it accessible and engaging for all ages. As is part of my name, my number one goal for this entire production was simple: to bring you joy. If we can make even one person smile, laugh, or walk away feeling a little more uplifted amidst whatever hardships life may bring, then every hour of work has been worth it.

I am deeply grateful to our incredible crew, who have built and lit this dream into existence, and to the Player’s Guild for trusting me with this piece of theatrical mischief. It’s a gift to work alongside such passionate people, and I am endlessly thankful for every hand that helped bring this play to life.

And finally, thank you, our audience. Without you, the magic stays in the rehearsal room. Tonight, you get to be part of the dream with us. I hope you leave with a smile, a lighter heart, and maybe a little belief in the magic of theater.

Now, let’s away into the forest… where anything can happen.
