    Co-Director

    Grey (they/them) has been heavily involved in the Central Oregon theater community since 2008 and is one of the proud co-founders of Ponderosa Players. At The Greenhouse Cabaret, Grey directed The Last Five Years in January, performed in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] (again) last month, and will be seen in the fall as Tobias Ragg in their production of Sweeney Todd! Other directorial credits include Oliver! (BEAT), Little Women: The Musical (Musical Impressions Studios), and Ponderosa Players’ inaugural MainStage production: The Addams Family: A New Musical. You may have also seen Grey onstage in Fun Home (Joan) or Spamalot! (Patsy). They have performed all over the world, including at Carnegie Hall and the Sydney Opera House. In the insanity of this world and this life, Grey truly couldn’t do any of it without Kisky so closely by their side. I love living in our home of fake foliage and riding the wheel of life with you.

  • Kisky Holwerda

    Co-Director & Co-Choreographer

    Kisky Holwerda (she/her) is a choreographer, director, actor and co-founder of Ponderosa Players alongside her Partner in Crime, Grey Conant. Kisky received her BA in Drama from Kenyon College and studied theater at programs including Interlochen, the Stella Adler Studio, and the British American Drama Academy. As an actor, Kisky has been seen on stage in New York City, Portland and Bend. Favorite local roles include The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] (again) (Player), Spamalot (Sir Robin), and Something Rotten (Shakespeare). Choreography credits include The Addams Family (Ponderosa Players), Legally Blonde Jr. (BEAT), Little Shop of Horrors (Summit High School), and The Little Mermaid (TMP). Kisky is currently choreographing Mamma Mia! for Theater in the Park and looking forward to playing Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd at the Greenhouse Cabaret this fall.
