Samiyah Austin is a junior vocal major at Arts High School. She demonstrates leadership and assertiveness, all while being attentive to the ideas of her peers and others. Samiyah has not yet chosen a college to attend; however, she wants to pursue a Bachelor of the Arts. Learning is something that she says “will never go out of style. After all, we are all students of life.” Samiyah believes that any person could agree that embracing change can be an inconvenience sometimes; however, God has a way of making your path known to you with perfect timing. It is important to be aware of yourself because as Samiyah puts it, “We are all characters in someone else’s story. Who we are affects the community which in turn affects the world.”

Hannah Sky Caldwell-Pretlow
as Dorothy
Hannah Sky Caldwell-Pretlow, a vocal major and senior at AHS, brings years of performance experience to the stage. She has showcased her talents at the Paper Mill Playhouse for three consecutive years and has been dancing for a remarkable 5-10 years. With a comfort level of performing in front of large crowds, she is well-versed in the art of captivating audiences. In addition, she has won a pageant, adding to her list of impressive accomplishments. Although it is her debut as the lead in a musical, it certainly is not her first time gracing the stage.

Marcus is a performing arts student and visual arts major at Arts High School. Marcus is division 12th amongst the many students at Arts High School. Marcus is also 18 years of age with a birth date of June 29, 2004. The roles that Marcus plays Marcus are Uncle Henry, Dance Ensemble, Scarecrow Understudy, Citizen and Crow.

Sara Calhau is a sophomore dance major at AHS. Sara is truly dedicated and passionate about her art form, as well as excited to showcase it on stage. Besides rehearsals and classes, Sara enjoys spending quality time with her friends, enjoys traveling, and loves taking pictures! She appreciates her teachers, friends, family, and God for assisting her through this journey.
