Sharai Bohannon (She/Her)

Playwright

Sharai Bohannon is a playwright who has had work produced in Arkansas, California, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Texas, and London, England. Her script, The Great Steven Stravinsky, a ten-minute play about an 11 year-old wannabe magician who learns the magic behind the baffling first crush/kiss and the joys of being an older sibling was published by Applause Books in 10-minute Plays for Kids (2015 Edition). Her play, Craigslisted,has been produced on multiple college campuses, The Lantern Theatre in Conway, Arkansas, and has had multiple readings across the United States. She is  also the founder/co-producer of Punching LaBute.

In addition to writing plays Sharai is also a film and pop culture critic for various online magazines including The Everygirl and Book and Film Globe, and her own Medium page. She currently co-hosts the podcast, A Nightmare on Fierce Street, where she tackles horror films through a Black feminist lens.

Bridget Reilly Beauchamp (She/Her)

Director

Bridget is the Founding Artistic Director of PBTC, and believes the silver lining of the coronavirus is getting to combine the PBTC ensemble in new and exciting ways.  Although she loves all of her productions equally, if pressed, she would rank The Penelopiad, Sense and Sensibility and Mr. Burns among her favorites. Next up for Bridget is the role of Diane in Kari Bentley-Quinn’s Awards Season  coming to PBTC in April. Bridget wishes to thank her family, even more than usual, for not hogging the internet during rehearsals and performances.

Kelly Hayes (she/her) (Set Designer/Media Designer/Sound Engineer) is a Set Designer who has found herself drawn into the world of Virtual Set Design. This is her second production with Pulley and Buttonhole!!. Past productions include NIGHT WITCHES (!!), THE LIFE AND CRIMES OF THE RAINBOW COLLECTIVE, THE MAD ONES LAB and her award winning digital design for SHE KILLS MONSTERS.
