    Meagan Kirby

Meagan was born in Boston, MA and moved to Portland, OR when she was 7. She first got into drama in high school, working backstage as a set builder/painter and quick changer, then acting in "Beauty and the Beast" and "A Dream Play". She came out to Ashland to study at SOU, to become a drama teacher for high schools. During her sophomore year she decided she felt more at home in the costume shop and switched emphasis to Costume Construction. Also in her sophomore year she auditioned for the Camelot Theatre in Talent, getting the role of Lianne in "Gigi". After that, she went on to perform in 5 more shows, became an assistant costumer, and then assistant costume designer for "I Hate Hamlet" and "Sweeney Todd". While performing in "All the King's Men", she auditioned for "Love Plays On" at the Randall. The Randall has given her nine shows so far, and now this amazing opportunity with "Owl and the Pussycat". 'Owl' has really pushed her as a performer and she has loved every minute of it.
