Zara Ali

as Hannah/Scab 3

Zara Ali is thrilled to be playing Hannah in Newsies Jr. Her previous acting credits include Into the Woods Jr. and Pandora's Fire. Zara leads as the 8th Grade Class Co-President. Outside of school, she plays competitive soccer with NCFC and volunteers with her mom for the National Charity League. Zara is grateful for her family and friends coming out to support her!
Aishu Babu

as Police Chief/Bill

Aishu Babu is in 6th grade and it is her first year of Ravenscroft. She is so excited to perform as Bill, and a Police Officer. She has had fun working with the cast. Some of her hobbies are drawing, ballet dancing, singing and track. She really enjoys practicing and she can't wait to do it again next year!
Liliana Barroso

as Hazel/Buttons

Liliana is so excited to be performing in Newsies JR this year as an 8th grader! You may have previously seen her performing as Rusty in the upper school's production of Footloose. Outside of school, she does singing, dancing, and acting lessons. She'd like to give a special thanks to Mrs. Maxwell and Mr. Sharp for all of their hard work to make this show possible!
Madelyn Bekerman

as Seitz/Scab 2

Madelyn Bekerman is thrilled to be playing Seitz/Scab 2 in this year's production as a 7th grader! She has had previous acting credit in Into the Woods JR. She loves acting, swimming, hanging out with friends and more! She thanks everyone for coming to see this year's production of Newsies JR.
Sophie Boram Allen

as Les

Sophie Boram Allen is super excited to be playing Les. She is in 6th grade and this is her first year and first play at Ravenscroft! She loves to sing and is a Soprano in 6th grade choir. Previously she was in the Justice Theater Project production of Mary Poppins Jr. Sophie serves as 6th grade Co-President.
