 ABOUT THE STAFF 

 

Regina M. Belt-Daniels -- Director (and Telephone Operator)

 

Regina first appeared onstage at age 6 as Mother Goose at Holy Cross Elementary; her last appearance was as Christina in And Then What for Theater Volt in March. She has directed more than 25 shows in the area, the most recent being 9 To 5 The Musical at the Woodstock Opera House, and Moon Over Buffalo at MCC's Black Box Theater. She has appeared in more than 40 shows with favorite roles being Rose in Gypsy, Stella Deems in Follies, Lucy in Snoopy, and Princess Puffer in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. She currently serves on the Raue and RCLPC Boards of Directors, is a lifetime TSP Board member, a founding member of the WSR Ensemble, a frequent theater reviewer for the Northwest Herald, and can be seen monthly in GET LIT(erary). Regina would like to thank her parents who encouraged her dramatic endeavors, her husband Farling for his support, all the friends who understand, "I can't-- I have rehearsal," and the On Golden Pond cast and crew for their amazing dedication and talent.

Barry Norton -- Scenic Artist

 

Barry is happy to return to RCLPC as a scenic artist for all three shows. He directed last year’s successful run of Hello, Dolly! No stranger to the theatre world, Barry has designed and painted many sets in the Chicagoland and McHenry County area. He earned his B.A. in Directing/Musical Theatre from Columbia College in Chicago. Some of his directing/scenic work has been seen at the Woodstock Opera House for WMTC’s Oliver (Broadway World nomination for Best Director), Joseph…Dreamcoat, Crazy for You, Annie, and Always Patsy Cline.  The King and I, Pirates of Penzance for Bartlett Family Theatre, Suessical, The King and I for Footlighters Theatre, Fiddler on the Roof, for Lakeland Players. Other scenic work includes The Importance of Being Ernest, Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Red Glow Czar for Town Square Players. When not directing or designing and painting sets, Barry can be found teaching his fourth grade students in Chicago. He also enjoys his time on stage performing. Most recently appeared in Guys and Dolls as Harry the Horse for BrightSide Theatre. He enjoys spending time with his friends and his dog Rusty. Upcoming projects include Scenic Painting for Crazy for You for St. James Theatre (July) and Co-directing Hairspray (June 2018) for Brightside Theatre.
