as Rafiki

Penelope Calcano is an accomplished young performer from Riverdale, NY. She has performed in multiple productions with Riverdale Children’s Theatre. Penelope is a skilled singer and dancer. Currently a student at the PPAS in New York City, she shines on stage with her charisma and passion for storytelling, captivating audiences with her dynamic performances.
Talib Thompson

as Mufasa

Talib-Sharif Thompson (They/Them) is excited to be back helping create another fantastic show! Recent graduate of Pace University Musical Theater (BFA) and starring in A Trip to The Moon, a new musical based on a comic book space adventure. Go RCT!
Aleena Ramos

as Sarabi

Aleena is 13 years old and is a current 7th grader. This is Aleena's 6th show with RCT, including: Finding Nemo, Descendants, and Wizard of Oz, and more! Aleena loves to dance, write, and read in her spare time. Aleena wants to wishes luck to the cast and a thank you to the creative time for putting this production together!
Eliza Jenkins

as Zazu

Eliza is a 7th grader at RKA. She loves performing and enjoys every role. Her credits include: Aladdin, the Lion King (Pumba), The Wizard of Oz, and Finding Nemo. Eliza also enjoys playing soccer and piano. She is thrilled to be back for her fourth RCT show.
Arabella McGinn-Cruz

as Scar

Arabella is a 7th grader at Jonas Bronck Academy. Arabella studies theater and voice at Harlem School of the Arts and is so happy to be back on stage with RCT! This is her second RCT show after debuting in The Little Mermaid. Arabella enjoys the performing arts, reading, writing, anime, art, soccer, video games, and being an awesome sister.
