M*A*S*H - November 01 - November 10, 2019

Robertson County Players

  Who's who

Guy Stanley (Gen. Hammond): A founding member of the RCP, Guy has been involved since its conception.  Mr. Stanley directed the very first production as well as dozens more over the past 41 years.  He also served as President of the Board of Directors.  He is also retired from the Robertson County School System where he mentored hundreds of children throughout the years.

Ronny Noles (Pvt. Boone): Ronny is a theater veteran whose RCP career began 40 years ago. Early credits include Lt. Sargent Trotter in “The Mousetrap,” Luther Billis in “South Pacific, and Dracula in “The Passion of Dracula.” Recently you may have seen him as Judge Gaffney in “Harvey,” Andrew Carnes in “OKLAHOMA!” and Banjo in “The Man Who Came to Dinner.”

John Krohn (Lt. Colonel Henry Blake): John has performed in everything from, "A Christmas Carol" and "The Owl and the Pussycat" to "The Lion in Winter."  John has also been a radio DJ in cities from Tampa to Kansas City to Denver.  He presently works for ABC Radio Networks in Nashville as a nationwide format announcer.

Laura Zimmer (Captain Bridget McCarthy): This is Laura’s third RCP production.  She is also involved in the Willow Oak Choir.  She says that M*A*S*H is her absolute favorite production because she gets to work with her friend, Karen Nicholson.

Ashley Whitefield (Lt. Janice Fury): Ashley took theatre classes in high school and was in two productions by Portland High School; “Robin Hood” and “A Christmas Carol.”  She also worked at Scream Creek Haunted Woods as one of the actresses for two years. This is my first meaty role within a production. Ashley enjoys drawing, painting, reading, and writing as well as video games, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and target shooting. She is usually kind of shy but opens up once she gets to know people.

Thom Wilson (Sergeant Devine): As a longtime resident of Robertson County it has been Thom's pleasure to be a part of several RCP productions.  The most rewarding part has been to share the experience with his family and friends, and to see his grandchildren take an interest in the performing arts.  He hopes you enjoy M*A*S*H as much as we have presenting it to you.

Tricia Ellison (Lt. Louise Kimble/Major Ruth Haskell): This is Tricia's first appearance with the RCP.  While taking classes in drama, she grew to love the entertainment industry. She has always had a passion for making people laugh. She has been a hairstylist for 30 years and owner of Hairitage Salon. She enjoys being with husband, Scotty, and family in her spare time.

Donny King (Captain Frank Burns): The playwright describes Frank Burns as “a boorish stickler for procedure and the rule book,” “insufferable,” and a “pompous a$$.”  Donny is thrilled to be cast in a role which demanded absolutely no character development.

Kevin DeLisle (Father John Patrick Mulcahy): Kevin was blessed to find this group and has been in several productions, most recently as Gandalf and Kris Kringle. But not at the same time.

James Saine (Cpt. Walt Waldowski): James Chikago Saine makes his return to the RCP stage after nearly a decade. He is a former Vice President of the RCP Board of Directors and has performed in "Bus Stop," "Twelve Angry Men" and "It's a Wonderful Life -Live Radio Play." He is also a lyricist and songwriter.

Mike Shropshire  (Cpt. "Trapper" John McIntyre): An IT professional from Greenbrier, Mike began acting as a way to spend more time with his daughter, but was subsequently bitten by the theatre bug himself, having now appeared in over 1/2 dozen productions with RCP including “The Hobbit,”” Footloose,” “Ragtime,” and “Fiddler on the Roof.”

Gary Noel, Jr. (Cpt. Benjamin “Hawkeye” Pierce): Gary is currently in grad school at Austin Peay State University working towards his master’s degree in Biology. This is his ninth RCP production, with The Outsiders (Randy), Smokey Joe's Cafe, and Fiddler on the Roof (Fyedka) amongst some of his favorites. Outside of school, work, and theater, Gary enjoys music and all things superhero.

Matthew Osborne (Cpt. Augustus “Duke” Forrest): Matthew is thrilled to work with RCP once again.  He loves music, video games, and dogs.  He dreams to one day become a successful voice actor and work alongside his heroes, Keith Silverstein and Matthew Mercer.  He would like to thank the director for this opportunity.

Thomas Turnage (Corporal “Radar” Reilly): Thomas graduated from MTSU with a degree in Mass Communications with a theater minor. His emphasis in those was writing a directing with a some acting and storytelling in there too. He was most recently seen in Robertson County Players "The Hobbit" and is excited to be part of the amazing cast of M*A*S*H.
