To My New Cheer Family:
What an amazing journey this year has been! I cannot find the words to express the deepest sense of gratitude I hold for your hard work, dedication, and willingness to grow. From the moment we met on your last day of camp I knew I was dealing with a powerful group of young women with the drive to be great. From that moment forward you exceeded my expectations on a regular basis.
That is not to say that this year has been perfect. You and I both know we have shared a good number of disappointments. However, you adapted and grew from each struggle each and every time finally coming together tonight to leave one last mark on the stage as a 2016-2017 Rattler Cheerleader.
To those returning next year: Onwards and upwards! May all of your successes and experiences guide you into the next year as stronger athletes, more focused and dedicated students, and even more amazing team members. Thank you for what you have given to this program and your community. I am truly blessed to get to work with you again for another year.
To my seniors: I’m not sure what I am going to do without you next year. We can all easily see how your physical talent has lead this team to numerous successes but your maturity and leadership has exceeded all of my expectations. You have experienced hardships over your 4 years in this program that would have led many to give up. You learned from each experience and grew into exceptional leaders and young women. In addition, you helped me this year in ways that you may not have even realized. I am eternally grateful for your support and guidance. Please know the successes of this year are yours. You have left your mark on this program forever and you will be greatly missed.
