    Mrs. Akira Regan is a lifelong musician and vocalist. She has performed in numerous concerts and productions throughout the years. She is the Choral Director of Roosevelt High School where she directs the Select Choir as well as coordinates the Color Guard and Majorette Team. Before working in Roosevelt, she worked in the Huntington School District and she directed Arts and Adventure Traveling Summer Camp. She is the founder and chair of the SATB Project, Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Five Towns College, a Master of Business Administration from American Intercontinental University, and a Master of Science in Music Education from Queens College.     The Roosevelt Union Free School District, located in Nassau County, New York, is a diverse and growing School District. It services over 3000 students in grades PreK to 12. The students are educated in three elementary schools - Centennial Avenue Elementary School, Ulysses Byas Elementary School, and Washington-Rose Elementary School - in addition to Roosevelt Middle School and Roosevelt High School. The Mission of the Roosevelt Union Free School District is to educate the whole child to excel, thereby ensuring achievement for all.

    Rochelle M. Gooding was born and raised in Roosevelt, NY. At the tender age of five, she began dance training in ballet, tap, jazz, African, hip hop, and classical pointe at Gloria Jackson Dance Studio. During her years at Roosevelt High School, she expanded her performing arts training by joining the Varsity Cheerleading Team. Ms. Gooding has a B.A. in Psychology, an M.S. in General Psychology, and holds an advanced certification in Mental Health Counseling. In 2007, Ms. Gooding opened Gooding Dance Academy in Roosevelt, NY where she offered professional training for children in the community at an affordable cost. Ms. Gooding has worked as the Community Services Information Assistant and the McKinney-Vento Liaison for RUFSD since 2016. She also serves as the Varsity Cheerleading Head Coach. Ms. Gooding is truly committed to the Roosevelt Performing Arts program and student achievement.
