    Matthew Ho

    Assistant Director of Lighting and Sound

    Originally from Seaford Long Island, Mr. Ho earned his B.S. in Music Education from Hofstra University in 2018. He is the Roosevelt High School Band Director and he also teaches Music Theory and Music Technology. A devout Horn player, Mr. Ho has worked with numerous ensembles throughout the Island.  These ensembles include the Massapequa Philharmonic, South Shore Symphony Orchestra, North Shore Symphony Orchestra, North Shore Winds, as well as many community ensembles.  He is also involved with several churches on the Island, serving as a substitute organist and cantor.  Mr. Ho joined Roosevelt in 2019 and he has been part of the RPA team since 2020.

    Yolette Wright, Ed.D.

    Assistant Director of Production

    Dr. Yolette Wright is the Lead Science Teacher at Roosevelt High School and has been working in the district since 2005. Dr. Wright earned her Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and Masters degrees from New York Institute of Technology and Hofstra University. She also earned her Doctorate of Education from St. John's University. She is one of seven National Board Certified Teachers in the district and is a Professional Learning Facilitator with the National Board Network of New York. Dr. Wright is also the Student Government Advisor and the teacher facilitator for the Superintendent's Student Circle. Always believing that students who enjoy coming to school perform at their best, Dr. Wright continuously works towards providing experiences that will create fond memories for the students of Roosevelt.

    Jeremy Mayo

    Costume Designer

    Jeremy A. Mayo is a graduate of Livingstone College in Salisbury NC where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business in 2010. He also holds fashion certification from LIM college. Mr. Mayo has worked with numerous schools in the tri-state area through his dress for success program. He has also worked with Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Dress Barn, and other major fashion retailers to put on fashion shows for charity. Currently, Mr. Mayo works at Ulysses Byas elementary school. At UB advises coronation, student government, and other student activities as needed.
