Director

Dane is the Founder and Producing Artistic Director for RCSC. He has directed five productions for the company including A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM to John Ford's 'TIS PITY SHE'S A WHORE. He holds a M. Litt. and MFA in Shakespeare and Performance from Mary Baldwin College. He is an Associate Member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers.
Alex Briski

Stage Manager

Alex Briski is thrilled to be back at RCSC! You never see her but she is not a stranger to Rubber City Shakes. She has been with the company from the very beginning where she managed A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. Other RCSC credits include TEH IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, 'TIS PITY SHE'S A WHORE, and ROMEO AND JULIET. Other theatre credits include ALWAYS...PASTY CLINE (Actor’s Summit), BAD JEWS (Actor’s Summit), and A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM (Akron Symphony Orchestra). Alex is a preschool teacher at Legacy Childcare Academy and the Resident Stage Manager for Rubber City Shakespeare Company. She would like to thank Joe, for the constant support and love he gives even though she is always in rehearsal.
Chris Simmons

Properties Designer

Chris Simmons is a graduate of UA with degrees in Theatre Arts and Education & a Master's Degree in Education. He was very involved in theatre at UA, as both an actor and director, having directed productions of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS and CABARET COMPANY. Chris has served as a properties designer for eight different RCSC productions. He serves as Nordonia Drama Club's advisor and director.
Jonathon Hunter

Lighting Designer

Jonathon Hunter has designed lights on multiple productions including PETER PAN, OKLAHOMA!, PIPPIN, ELEPHANT'S GRAVEYARD, YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, CRAZY FOR YOU, THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL and many more. He holds an MFA from the University of Virginia in Lighting Design and serves as Weathervane Playhouse's Technical Director.
