This is Emma Bourque. She has been involved with Rutland Youth Theater since she was eight years old, and is currently a senior at Rutland High School. Growing up she enjoyed being a part of the ensemble so she could partake in multiple dance numbers. In Annie Jr, she is stepping out of her comfort zone and playing Ms. Hannigan. This character has been incredibly fun and challenging to develop into. Tackling all the aspects of the classic Ms. Hannigan character has been a journey in itself and Emma is thrilled you are here to watch all the pieces of this show, and her role, come together. Outside of theater, Emma works a part time job at her family business, Olympic Pizza. She has spent the past five years learning about operating a business to help prepare her for life after college, given she will be studying business at an undecided school. At high school, she is a new member of the National Honors Society and enjoys her time spent with this club. Volunteering and giving back to the community she grew up in is a very important part of her life.
