Lighting Programming and Design/Light Operator/Set Design/Set Painting

Fourth year in Drama, although I’m not in the class. I work as the lighting engineer and handle music cues but I also paint the sets. Through programming and juggling various operating systems, I find something magical about turning the abstract into a sensory experience-manipulating light and music to evoke emotions and craft an alternate universe on stage.

Set Design/Set Painting/Backstage

This is my sixth play at SCDS, as I have been a part of drama since 3rd grade, but this is my first time working on tech. While I have always been onstage, this semester I decided to change it up. From painting to programming lights, tech has been a lot cooler than I thought it would be. In the coming years I hope to do tech during plays and hop onstage for musicals.

This is my second year in Drama. I have acted in three past productions at SACCDS, including The Love of Three Oranges, Spam-a-lot, and Ghostlight. In Armageddon, I play Levi. I also get to help with sound!
