    Kate is delighted to be returning to Sandy Actors Theatre after appearing previously as Mrs. Boyle in The Mousetrap. She studied acting at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and Lewis and Clark College in Portland. After living most of her life in San Francisco, Kate moved to Portland several years ago; since then she has worked with Cerimon House, Serendipity Plays and Faultline Ensemble. Kate also holds a Master’s Degree in drama therapy and has done counseling using theater techniques. When she’s not on stage, you’re likely to find her strolling through a farmers’ market or an art museum.

    George is appearing in his fifth production at Sandy Actors Theatre. This will be a special treat for he has acted with six members of the cast and crew in other productions at SAT. His first acting experience was as Harry Beaton in Brigadoon at Independence, MO, in 1962. Over the years, he played many roles in Independence, Lamoni, Iowa, Astoria, Oregon and Portland. George emigrated from Scotland to Missouri in 1956 and moved to Oregon in 1985. Since then, he has retired from the US Army Reserve as a Lt. Colonel and from teaching in MESWD alternative high schools. He and his wife, Joy, live on the edge of the forest in Damascus with their border collie, Dusty MacCavish and Rob Roy, their Blue and Gold Macaw. They have recently become grandparents for the eighth time. Life is good!

    Tabitha has been acting since the fifth grade. She has done many plays with the Springwater Players. In high school Tabitha participated in four years of musicals, as Mrs. Peterson in Bye, Bye Birdie, Mrs. Potts in Beauty and The Beast, and helped direct the department One Acts. She looks forward to working on the production and hopes to pursue acting and singing in the future.
