Why Youth Theatre?
I am a strong believer that theater is a great tool to learn some amazing life skills. Although I strive to help teach an appreciation of the arts and train students to gain better acting skills and technique, my main goals are much greater. Theater is a great place to learn how to step outside of your comfort zone as well as learning things like teamwork, public speaking, leadership, following direction, comprehension skills, empathy, respect for peers, communication and so much more. On top of all that, it is a lot of fun!
Thank you to SCA, the kids and the parents for welcoming me with open arms. I couldn’t be more blessed.
