    Melissa Hall is thrilled to be returning to the beautiful Garden theater in her second short north stage production. She was last seen in last seasons production of Fugitive Songs. Recent regional credits include The Wild Party (Queenie) and Sweeney Todd. Favorite previous credits: Funny Girl (Fanny Brice), Into the Woods (Witch), Hairspray (Penny Pingleton), 35mm, and RENT. Melissa is a BFA musical theater graduate of Wright State University. Special thanks to Nick for this incredible opportunity and for believing in me, as well as my family for their unwavering love and support.

    Jarrad Biron Green is very happy to be making Short North Stage debut in The Last Five Years! He recently graduated from NYU Steinhardt with a degree in Vocal Performance concentrating in Musical Theatre. His favorite credits include the National Tour of West Side Story (Tony), Catch Me If You Can (Frank Abagnale Jr.), Grease (Danny Zuko), Damn Yankees (Joe Hardy), Altar Boyz (Luke), and The Who's Tommy (Cousin Kevin). He thanks his parents for their support, his friends for their love, The Mine for believing in me, and to the whole team that made this a blast to work on! Enjoy the show!

  • Nick Lingnofski

    Director

    Nick is a graduate of the American Musical & Dramatic Academy, NYC. He began his acting career by accident at the age of 13 and has never looked back. He moved to Columbus in 2003 and has performed with various companies in and around Central Ohio since. His acting highlights include Andrew Jackson (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, AVLT), Charlie Kringas (Merrily We Roll Along, AVLT), The Balladeer/Lee Harvey Oswald (Assassins, Red Herring), Zach (A Chorus Line, SNS) and Tony Parker (Die, Mommie, Die!, SNS). This is Nick’s professional directorial debut. He expresses his endless gratitude to the producers and Creative Committee of Short North Stage. This opportunity truly means the world to him. He would also like to specially thank Mia, Leia and Sophia who are forever generous with their art and their wicked dance moves. Nick dedicates this performance to Kate, without whom he would be lost.
