Mika Ferguson

I play alto and tenor saxophone in band/jazz band. I also play alto saxophone in band and I play tenor saxophone in jazz band. I have been playing saxophone for four years.I have been in four musicals in Middle School.

The first musical I did was the Lion King as a background character and now my role is Aphrodite. I went from not being noticed at all to having a solo in the show. But overall I have made some great friends that I still talk to because of the musical. The musicals are always one of the most fun times I have during school. Hanging backstage was really fun too because I would always hangout and talk to my friends that I don't really see as much. Overall the musical was one of the most fun things I did in middle school.
