Kat Rodriguez
Director
Kat attributes her love of theatre and specifically, youth theatre, to the Helen Hayes Youth Theatre in Nyack, NY. This is where Kat spent many an afternoon or weekend in rehearsals for some of her favorite shows such as, Seussical the Musical, Honk!, Into the Woods, The Sound of Music, and more! Even after graduating high school, she went back to work for them and realized she would one day want to have her own youth theatre program. Well today, that dream comes true! Thank you all for being a part of the inaugural Sophie Dance Westside Players show! Kat has loved every minute of working with these young actors and instilling in them the same love of theatre she grew up with! She can't wait to see them shine on stage!
