    Playwright / Workshop Leader

    Matt Webster is a recovering tenured Associate Professor of Theatre Education/Theatre for Youth. After teaching theatre teachers how to teach theatre for 14 years he left the ivory towers of higher education to work in the down and dirty trenches of high school theatre and has never looked back. Matt is currently the chair of the Fine Arts Department of a new high school in North Carolina. In addition to teaching, Matt is an actor and director who has worked for professional theatre companies such as the Silver Bear Theatre in Albuquerque, Honolulu Theatre for Youth, Seattle Children's Theatre and Children's Theatre of Charlotte. Matt is also an award winning playwright. The Myths at the Edge of the World is his first published play, but he is confident that is won't be his last. Matt lives in North Carolina with his beautiful and supportive wife Karen, and his 3 children.

    Jimmy Chrismon*

    Director

    Jimmy Chrismon is the theatre director at South Pointe High School. He is currently working on his doctoral degree at Gardner-Webb University. He teaches at Winthrop University and Central Piedmont Community College as well. He has acted, directed, produced, and designed professionally and is happy to say he loves teaching! He also loves his little dogs Pippin and Boq. And Madonna.

    Morgan Jeffcoat*

    Stage Manager

    Morgan Jeffcoat "Overcash" is a senior. Her past productions include All That Drama and Tarzan. She has been apart of the technical crew for shows like Lonely Planet, All Shook Up, A Night of Asian Theatre, and Godspell. She is heavily involved in the South Point Drama Club and the SCCC. She would like to thank her family and friends for their constant support.
