Julie McConnell

Choreographer

Julie McConnell is a graduate of the dance department at Central Academy of Technology and Art, where she developed her love of musical theatre. She’s choreographed many works while at CATA and will be pursuing every opportunity to choreograph as a Musical Theatre major/Dance Minor at Ohio Northern University. She is thrilled to have been able to choreograph one her favorite musicals, Newsies, and grateful for the opportunity to work with the talented students at Spotlight!

Angela is excited to once again have the opportunity to work with an amazing group of talented young people.

Angela is the owner of Spotlight Performing Arts Academy and also teaches voice, piano and a variety of other instruments. For the past 9 years Angela has strived to give all students a chance to shine and develop their love for the theater. We may not know what the future holds but for now we are making memories for a lifetime!
