Having directed several shows over the past few years, none has quite compared to this one. This cast, crew, and staff were all set to open to full houses in March, 2020, but the world had other ideas.  We all walked away just before opening the run, not quite knowing if this would ever happen.

The show you are watching this evening has come about due to the ingenuity of a board of directors who saw value in the work that had already taken place, and felt a responsibility to the actors to make it happen. Specifically,  this show has been made possible by the persistence and open-mindedness of its producer, Cynthia Higginson. She has been the biggest champion for the cast and crew (and director!),  and her dedication has been second to none.

Finally, the cast and their crew are to be applauded.  They have given above and beyond what is usually sacrificed during a production. Each was willing to find a way to make it work, a year later and, in many cases, with schedules that hadn't figured on including a show. They have been patient, hardworking, and flexible. Most of all, they have put aside any ego and put it all out there for the group and the end result. How excited I am for them, and you, the audience, to finally see the product of all of their work.
