Director’s Note - Patricia Lynn Strickland
Theater is where students come alive. It builds confidence, creativity, connection, and courage—skills they’ll carry far beyond the stage. Here, they learn to take risks, speak with heart, and work as one.
The Addams Family may be full of laughs and quirks, but at its core, it reminds us not to judge others—or ourselves—by appearances. Wednesday dares to love outside her world. Gomez must choose between truth and protection. Alice reclaims her voice. Each character breaks free of expectations—and that’s when the magic happens.
Our students have done the same. They’ve faced challenges, found joy, and discovered just how bold they can be. That is the power of theater.
With heartfelt thanks to Jenna Gillespie Byrd, Charlie Strickland, Amber Zepf, Kayla Bailey, and Mrs. Becky Huntley for your time, talent, and belief in these young artists.
Thank you for being here and for supporting the arts. Enjoy the show!
